So i bought the first two books awhile ago but I have so many books that i didn't start reading this series until this weekend and it was good...so while reading the second one I noticed the third one on goodreads was coming out so I quickly bought it...it was good but I just finished and now I can't believe I have to wait for another book...frustrated book reader who now has to wait patiently for the next one....lol

This series is pretty good though 😀

It was a nice book up until the end. The ending was very abrupt, as if the writer didn't want to finish properly, in the middle of a plot twist. It left me a bit disappointed, particularly since I enjoyed all the books thusfar.

I am such a huge fan of The Kind of September!

WORLDWIDE focuses on the downside of fame rumors, gossip, crazed fans, and the not-so-nice hashtags trending on twitter. The tension between the guys is palpable and the band is falling apart. But, amidst all the drama, the show must go on!

And of course now that the world knows that Sam and Mel are dating, she too is thrown into the spotlight. Poor Mel! Fame brings its own problems regarding relationships and falling in love. Dating a high-profile band member puts Mel in the public eye of a lot of jealous fans! Her family is (justifiably) worried.

Despite the drama that surrounds them – the romance between Mel and Sam is super sweet. I love them as a couple!

I’ve mentioned it before but I love how Author Jacqueline E. Smith includes the band’s song lyrics in her writing. The lyrics are beautiful and I can almost hear the band playing in my head when I read her poetry. It’s such a nice touch.

The characters are so lovable. I enjoyed all the witty dialogue between the characters. Sam Morneau is literally laugh-out-loud funny! I just love the band conversations between the guys.

And the villain I love to hate is back – I won’t say much more, but whoa… it’s a whopper!

This series is a MUST for music lovers. Highly recommended!
I don't know why I keep reading this series. Mel is kind of juvenile and annoying. And I wonder how old the author of the books are? It seems like it's for a much younger audience.
I was hoping for more, but I am not sure why. I read the entire series in my spare time over four days.

I liked the main characters up to a point, but but I would not really accept our protagonists willingness to be a 'doormat' (both emotionally and career wise) without much change of fame or fortune (for her).

A better editor would have noticed this, and other too obvious plot elements. This write can and will do much better in future.
This third book in the series took me a bit longer to read. I guess the fact that Mel and Sam were out in the open, smothered my need to read on a bit. But then all that Cory/Tara stuff happened, and Ms Cliffhanger struck again. Come on Spotlight, I need you soon.
Jacqueline did it again. She kept me pinned to my seat until I was finished with Worldwide and made me cry hard when I reached the ladt page and there isn't a fourth book out yet. FIVE BRIGHT STARS!
This YA series is for the strong hearts, as every end is a cliff and the twists are EVERYWHERE. Seriously.If you like Hollywood backstage books, Young Adult, fun books and drama all over the place, just pick up this series, please. You need these books in your life, I assure you!
